Welcome, Monica Hurst, PA-C

Your care team

Small by design. Big on time, access & continuity.

You'll never be a chart number here. Meet the people behind your care.

Physician-led. Team-delivered.

Many clinics use physician assistants and nurse practitioners to absorb new patients. We do it differently — and deliberately. Here, the team model exists to deepen your access, not dilute your relationship with your doctor.

1

Start with the doctor

Every new patient's care begins with Dr. Wooldridge — the time to learn your full history and build your plan together.

2

Follow up with the team

Once you're established, Monica adds appointment availability for follow-ups, medication checks, and ongoing condition visits — same chart, same plan, same philosophy.

3

Never lose the thread

Dr. Wooldridge and Monica work side by side, reviewing care together, so your story stays known no matter who you see.

Physician Assistant

Monica joins Catalpa Clinic in 2026 after nearly a decade caring for patients across Kitsap County. Before becoming a physician assistant, she earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami and practiced at Harrison Medical Center and Kitsap Physical Therapy — a background that still shapes her practical, whole-body approach to care.

She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Dakota as a National Health Service Corps Scholar, then spent three years providing full-spectrum family medicine at a high-volume community health clinic, caring for patients of every age and background.

Her clinical focus is preventive medicine, musculoskeletal conditions, and women's health, with a special interest in helping patients navigate perimenopause and menopause with real answers and real options.

Monica values healthcare that feels personal. She takes the time to listen, answer questions, and partner with each patient to develop evidence-based care plans that reflect their individual goals and values.

Outside of the clinic, Monica enjoys spending her free time with her family, trail running, camping, and exploring the mountains. She is grateful to call such a beautiful part of the Pacific Northwest home.

Medical Assistant

Aurora is often your first hello at Catalpa Clinic — and she's very good at it. A certified medical assistant with more than four years of clinical and administrative experience in practices across Kitsap County, she has supported thousands of in-office procedures and managed front-office operations from scheduling to records. At Catalpa, she handles rooming and vitals, immunizations, specimen collection, and the coordination that keeps a small practice running on time. She's currently pursuing an associate's degree in healthcare management.

Our clinical team is supported behind the scenes by a dedicated administrative team handling scheduling, records, and billing.
